Geraldine Hamilton

Geraldine, nee Isenhardt, Hamilton, 91, of Freeport, Ill., formerly of Glen Carbon, Ill., born January 27, 1921 in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Manor Court of Freeport, Freeport, Ill.

Geraldine was a former member of Cornerstone Christian Church, Shiloh, Ill., and the Belleville Christian Women’s Club. She was most recently a member of Dakota Community Presbyterian Church of Dakota, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles E. Hamilton; her son Charles A. Hamilton; her grandson, Christopher R. Goeke; her father, Arthur Fleetwood Isenhardt; her mother, Myrtle nee Gillison, Isenhardt; her step-mother, Jenny nee, Crane, Isenhardt; two brothers, Emerson & George Isenhardt; two sisters, Mildred (William) Smith and Betty Jo (Eugene) Piquard and a step-brother, Frank Crane.

Surviving are her two children, Richard D. (spouce, Lori Kobelak) Hamilton and Joan C. (Andrew) Goeke; 10 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Mildred “Millie” Hamilton and dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Brinklow officiating.

Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
