

Mr. Gyon was an avid train collector and loved Lionel and American Flyer. He was a CB and Hamm radio enthusiast, his CB handle was, “Massasauga”, and his radio license number was, ILL3090UNIT 33 LAND OF LINCOLN. He loved reptiles of all kinds and was a member of the St. Louis Herpetological Society. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who they fondly, referred to as a “Stinker”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Gyon.
Surviving to cherish is memory are his mother, Olive Gyon, Watson; his loving wife, of 41 years, Pam Gyon, nee Evans, of Belleville; his children, Scott (Stacy) Gyon, Sandra Gyon-Bauers, Brad Gyon, Layla Evans, and Darren Bisconti, all of Belleville, Ill.; his grandchildren, Sonya, Sawyer, Scott Lee, Brock, Dillinger, and Justus; two sisters, Gerry (Bruce) Arendall, of Oceanview, Delaware, and Gay (Rod) Otten, of Millstadt, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives , and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Funeral: Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ed Weston officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
