He was “one of a kind”. He was the operator of Marlin’s Industrial Salvage, Inc. He was a wonderful son, father, and friend. He loved to play paintball with his son, Guy; and enjoyed cards with his mom. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy M. Marlin, Sr.; and a brother, John Freely.
Surviving are his loving mother, Margaret (Carron) Marlin, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his son, Guy Austin Marlin, of Fairview Heights, Ill.; his brothers, Thomas W. (Kimberly) Freely, of Belleville, Ill. and Steve (Malinda) Tuomey, of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a sister, Kathy (Kevin) Sweeney, of Fairview Heights, Ill.; his close friend and mother of his son, Terra Johnson; and 17 dogs.
