Harvey Dale Crane

He married Nancy L. Kean on March 10, 1951. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2020. During their time in Union, MO, he and Nancy were members of Zion United Church of Christ.

Harvey was also preceded in death by his son, Dale Crane; daughter, Denice Baker; and sister, Arline Stephens.

He is survived by his loving family, including son, Dennis Crane; son-in-law, Warren L. “Boots” Baker III; grandchildren, Warren “Buddy” (Missy) Baker IV, Erica (Doug) Quevreaux, Danielle (Travis) Haegele; and eight great-grandchildren.

Harvey spent his career working as a project estimator with Union Electric in East. St. Louis, IL. In the last several years of his working career, he worked in Union, Missouri with Union Electric.

Together, he and Nancy enjoyed camping and their winters spent in Florida, where they made countless memories and friends. Harvey loved to fish and was a talented woodworker. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BJC Hospice.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Quail Club, 8303 Concordia Church Rd, Belleville, IL 62223.

Cremation rites have been accorded and are under the direction of Lake View Funeral Home. Final interment will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
