Heather was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. Anyone that ever had the pleasure of encountering her as a stranger, always left as a friend. She was a true joy to be around, and her compassionate persona and charismatic personality will always be remembered.
In earlier years, she attended Belleville East High School, where she made life-long friends. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, take countless selfies of herself (can’t forget the snapchat filters), spend time with her nieces and nephews, whom she called her babies, and her fur babies as well, especially her dog, Gizzmo. She also loved dogs, dolphins, Winnie the Pooh, food, bright colors, and all things beautiful. Her most precious memories were those spent with her family.
Family was everything to Heather. Her family and friends often said that she possessed strength to admire like no other. She was passionate about the National Kidney Foundation, for various reasons. She often danced with her specialist, Dr. G, as he would come in and brighten her day with each visit and procedure. Heather had a fight within her that sustained some of her most troubled times, but always seemed to push through with a smile and a faithful heart. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Heaven has truly gained an angel that was way too good for this Earth.
She was preceded in death by both of her grandfathers: Donald Dreher and Clifford Ziegler.
Surviving to cherish memories are, her parents: Debbie (Eric) Kalra, and Charles (Elizabeth) Hoffman, her siblings: Jeremy (Melissa) Hoffman, Melanie (Michael) Jones, Adam (Katelyn) Hoffman, Amanda (Eric) Mann, and Jamie Heggemeier, her grandmothers: Betty Dreher, and Betty Jo Ziegler, her nieces and nephews: Jaxson, Cooper, Allieanna, Kaden, Alena, Drake, Leddi, Addie, and Eiana, special friends: Chuck Sabo, Lisa Alston, and bestfriend, Michelle Taylor, her furry son, Gizzmo and a number of dear relatives and friends.
The family of Heather Sabo, would like to send a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to each and every medical and care provider that attended to Heather throughout the years.
