I knew Skip professionally for 30 years, and he was knowledgeable, thorough and always professional. Personally, whenever I spoke to him, or ran into him, I always enjoyed our conversations. He was always positive and upbeat, with a good sense of humor, and frankly, it just won't be the same without him. Our sincere condolences to Tonya, his family, and all who knew him. R.I.P. old buddy.

I knew Skip through my law enforcement days as a dispatcher. It has been many years since I have seen him. Skip was always a gentleman with a very kind smile. He had law enforcement in his blood. My hope is that Skip did not suffer and I know he is resting in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Skip's passing. I think the last time I saw him was at his Mother's funeral. I spent a LOT of time with Aunt Betty, Uncle Howard and Skip when I was younger. I miss them all. Sorry for your loss. He was a good guy.

Skip always loved it when a few of us gospel singers would come to his church at the same time. We always gathered on the platform and sang a few hymns. He was very quick to jump on stage with that gleam in his eye and grab a mic and sing a harmony part. We got him up to sing with us at his retirement party and you could just see the enjoyment in his tear filled eyes. I loved to chat with him over a meal at one of the great eateries he knew about. He could always tell a great story. I will miss you dearly my friend, but I know you are in Heaven with that same "gleam" in your eye singing with an Angel choir. Rest well buddy. You deserve it after all the hard work and ministry you did in this life. My life is forever changed because we were friends. See you when I get there. Love ya man
