Ina was born March 8, 1943 in Cheyenne, WY to Samuel and Melva (McLees) Lawson. She was married to Raymond Harmann for 48 years; he preceded her in death on August 30, 2010. Also preceding her in death are her parents, as well as her brother, Bob (Marilyn) Lawson.
Ina is survived by her loving family, including her brother, Lee (Dorie) Lawson of Centennial, CO; children, Cindy R. (Dan) Hartwig of Collinsville, IL and Kevin E. (Ryanne) Harmann of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Erica Haywood of Collinsville, IL, Samuel Harmann of Chicago, IL, Miles Harmann of St. Louis, MO and Declan Harmann of St. Louis, MO; and great-grandchildren, Joscelyn Hartwig of Collinsville, IL and Elizabeth Hurst of Collinsville, IL.
Ina was a resident of Troy, IL for 31 years until moving to a retirement apartment in St. Louis last year. She was a longtime active member of Lakeview Southern Baptist Church in Swansea, IL, where she actively volunteered and cherished her church family and friends.
This world will never again know such a Jesus-following, Siamese cat-collecting, sneaky regular-to-decaf-coffee-swapping (office prank), shotgun-toting, nickname-assigning, Denver Broncos-loving, cowgirl-wannabe. We are thrilled beyond measure to know that she is now well again and reunited with her husband, many loved ones, and numerous cats.
The family has entrusted the Lake View Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL with arrangements. While Ina has requested that her ashes be scattered in Snowy Range, Wyoming, an open house for friends and family will be held Saturday, October 2nd from 2:00-4:00 pm at Rooftop Community Church (9217 Gravois Road, Affton, MO 63123).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ina's memory to Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center (www.stlcats.org/donate).
