James "Jim" Louis Glowacki

James Louis Glowacki, 59, of Flora, IL, born, May 29, 1959, in East St Louis, IL, passed away, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Belleville, IL.
James better known as Jim to all his loved ones possessed a charismatic and outgoing personality. He often joked with family and friends, which put a smile and a hint of laughter on everyone he encountered. Jim enjoyed playing softball with his daughter, taking rides in his corvette, relaxing in his rocking chair, and watching his favorite hockey team, the St Louis Blues. His most precious moments were those spent with his daughter, Makayla, whom he often referred to as “Kada” and his family and friends. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Glowacki, on May 3, 2018.
Surviving to cherish memories are, his loving daughter, Makayla Glowacki (Jordan Weidner), of Cisne, IL, his mother, Josephine (nee Grill) Glowacki, of, Swansea, IL, his siblings; Ann (Bill) House, of Swansea, IL, Marie (Steve) McClintock, of Swansea, IL, and Robert (Lora) Glowacki, of Waterloo, IL, his furry companions; Hachi and Bernie, and a number of dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm, at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Father Voss officiating.
The family of Mr. Glowacki request that all family and friends arrive 15 minutes (12:45 pm) prior to Lake View Funeral Home, located at 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 before processing out and please wear any St Louis Blue’s paraphernalia.

i sold him my road runner we bold talked about that car.we both wish we would have kept it we loved it hed call ma at 4am every night cause he slept during the day. this was a few mts ago. .he would tell me stories about my brother keith i missed out on his early party days i was in germany. jimmy loved kshe 95 he never got enough.. we were close when we were young my dad took us fishing . this past year we became close again due to are condition . love you cus . i will see you again .and yes you always made humor and made me laugh that will be missed. even when you leave it falls on my birthday . i will leave it at that. wait my mom he called her tree. too soon jimmy too soon love you
