Jared was born June 19, 1980 in Sunnyvale, CA to Charles and Rosalyn (Ponti) Looser. He married Monica Wilder on August 10, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Upon graduating from Highland High School in Arizona, Jared enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1999. During his six years of service, Jared was deployed twice during Operation Iraqi Freedom, to Kuwait and Iraq. Jared was a member of DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
Jared worked as a Senior Electronic Gaming Security Specialist with the Missouri State Gaming Commission and more recently was employed with Entain as a Cybersecurity & IT Auditor.
Jared earned dual Bachelor degrees at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in Computer Management Information Systems and Business Management in 2011 and attained a Master of Science in Management Information Systems in 2019.
Jared enjoyed reading, traveling the world, going to the movies, and hiking whenever he could. Jared was a foodie who loved researching new and offbeat restaurants, and always had a list of places to eat at while vacationing. He also had an impressive Coca-Cola collection which he enjoyed adding to over the years.
Jared and his sister Megan were extremely close, always there for each other during life’s trials. When they were able to visit each other, cooking was top of the list of things to do. Jared loved making Grandmom Looser’s Hungarian Christmas cookies with Megan and homemade pumpkin pies. Jared took pleasure in the little things and cherished spending time with family. He had a heart of gold and always stayed true to his self. Jared will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him throughout his life.
Surviving Jared are his wife Monica of Caseyville, IL; his beloved cat Val; father Charles Looser of Gilbert, AZ; sister Megan Looser of Cottonwood, AZ; father and mother-in-law Mark and Marlyne Wilder of Fairview Heights, IL; his aunt and uncle Diane and Richard Wright of Evanston, IL; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Jared was predeceased by his mother Rosalyn.

VISITATION: A visitation for Jared will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.
Casual dress & Coca-Cola attire is requested by Jared's family for services.
Private inurnment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
