

Mrs. Bynum was an avid reader and writer. She owned a bookstore, “Ye Olde Book Shoppe”, in Texas for 27 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; who will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard L. and Mary Ellen, nee Ruff, Tippett, Sr.; her loving husband, Jerry Bynum; a sister in infancy, Mary D. Tippett; and a brother, Richard L. Tippett, Jr.
Surviving are her children, Ellery Bynum and Emily Bynum, both of Texas; two grandchildren, Taelin and Tason Bynum; two brothers, Robert R. and Thomas (Janet) Tippett; three sisters, Ellen (William) Beebe, Catherine Piazza, and Delia (Jerry) Schindler; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, December 22, 2011, at the funeral home, with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
