She is preceded in death by her parents, John (Nell) and former wife Ruth (Shelton) Adair
Jean is survived by her daughter, Laura (Melanie) Russell of Edwardsville, Illinois, daughter Phyllis Halvorsen of Norway, son Larry (Bev)Stogner of Alexandria, IN, son John Stogner of New Orleans, LA, former husband, L.B. (Carolyn) Stogner of Kiln, MS, Significant Other, Carl Mosier, whom she has known for 10 years, and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Jody Adair, brother John Adair and brother Ben Adair.
During her lifetime, Jean was a domestic engineer and part time Bookkeeper. In her free time, she enjoyed painting still life and landscapes, quilting, and playing the piano. She loved collecting cookbooks and trying new recipes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Florida.
Memorials may be made in Jean’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association.
