Jonathan was a great writer, friend, and all around awesome human being. He was a kind, caring soul and fun to be around. We met him about a decade ago through our sons who also belonged to the SCA at the time. We last saw Jonathan in October of 2018 when he drove the hour to our homestead to gather maitake mushrooms and have dinner with us. It was a great visit! We truly enjoyed his company. Heaven must have needed another angel to call him home so soon. I am happy that he is no longer suffering and is reunited with family and friends that have passed on, but sad for those of us left behind.

Jonathan was my "other son" and best friends with my son, B.J. He was a wonderful person and he was very much loved and part of our family. We cherish our memories of Jonathan and will forever miss him.

Jonathan always had a great story to share, and could find a song to sing for any time or place. He loved decorating for holidays, and to snuggle with his cat Harlequin and to share their stories! You are missed greatly Jonathan.
