

Mr. Stockley was a United State Army and Air Force veteran. He retired after 45 years of dedicated service at Boeing Aircraft. He was a former member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Caseyville, Ill., and Holy Rosary, Fairmont City, Ill. He dedicated his life to his family and taking care of his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary, nee Oravec, Stockley; and two sisters, Janet Burin and Barbara Koch.
Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Dorothy A., nee Codling, Stockley; his children, Michael (Maria) Stockley, Joseph M. Stockley Jr., Mary (Gregg) Ernst and Melinda "Mindy" (Matthew) Oliver and loving grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Jason, Derek, Andrea, Zackery, Charles "C.J.," Scott, Rebecca, Nikie and Andrew; and one sister, Diane McPherson; and two brothers, Richard Stockley and Jerome Stockley; and loving brother-and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Church in Fairview Heights, Ill., or Presbyterian Church - Food Pantry, Collinsville, Ill., or in the form of a Mass to The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, Ill.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights, Ill., with Father James Buerster officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
