Justin, j money, you have held a special place in my heart since I met you-about 15 years ago. I have watched you grow up and become the man you are. I am so proud of you and everything you over came. sorry but I cant use past tense words just yet. still doesn't seem real but god has better plans for you. I do take comfort knowing you are finally at peace. your family will now have a super guardian angel around them. your are truly missed and will never be forgotton. much love sweetie.

I met Justin back in 2011 on South High’s swim team. I had just joined the team and he was one of the first few ppl I met. We hit it off so well. He was so easy to talk to and was always so nice to me. We became really close and started saving each other seats on the bus and considered each other “bus buddies”. Every time we came across each other in the school halls he would always greet me with “hey bus buddy!” but then that changed when he asked me on our swim bus to be his prom date “hey bus buddy” then changed to “Hey prom date!”. I will never forget Justin. His memory will forever be with me. It was an honor to have known such a loving and genuine guy like him. He will truly be missed.

The last time I saw him was a few months ago at A Day to Remember concert, where he had a blast in the “pit”. Every time I saw him or spoke with him he was always in a cheerful mood. Always concerned with how I was doing. He was known by people for being so friendly and nice, he never met a stranger. We spent an evening at the park and went to a Blink 182 concert together. He’s a great friend who will be missed terribly.

I went to high school with Justin in Bakersfield CA. He was always so kind, polite and funny. We had a lot of fun with many friends and enjoyed so many times together. We had not spoken in quite a few years but I was heartbroken to hear the news. Ill always think of you whenever I see a yellow bug. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. A free spirit is truly free now.

I will always remember Justin as being a very fun cousin whom I enjoyed exploring beach, playing hide and seek, and overnights in the 5th wheel.
