Kevin Ray Schneider

Mr. Schneider had many talents. He was jeweler in St. Louis for several years, a salesman at Auffenberg Ford in Belleville, a self-employed handyman and worked for Belfor USA. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Belleville, where he also worked as a custodian. Kevin was a member and past chairman of the Meadowdale Heights Neighborhood Association, and a past member of the Mascoutah Sportsmen’s Club.

He is survived by his wife, Darla Schneider, nee Valentine, whom he married on October 4, 1980; a daughter, Kimberly (Brad) Nunnally of Fairview Heights, IL; a son, Cory Schneider of Belleville, IL; his parents, Ray and Claudia, nee Schwarzlose, Schneider of Mascoutah, IL; a grandson, Tristan Nunnally; three sisters: Carla (Joe) Robertson of Belleville, IL; Sonya (Ben) Welton of Valparaiso, Indiana; and Robyn (Brad) Garrett of Monticello, IL; three sisters-in-law: Cheryl Cooper, Vicki Valentine, and Judy (Mike) Bosick; nieces, nephews, and many caring friends and relatives here and in Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Trinity United Church of Christ; Belleville, Illinois, with Rev. Martha Ann Baumer officiating. Interment will be Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
