Kyle is survived by his parents, Keith Hill of Belleville, Illinois, Laurie (Michael Meyer) Klein-Hill of Collinsville, Illinois, the love of his life and his fiancé, Melanie Shadrick of Pontoon Beach, Illinois, his brother and best friend, Matthew Hill, his grandparents, Richard and Barbara Lee Klein of Collinsville Illinois, and Margaret Nering of Belleville. He also loved to play video games with childhood friends and maintain connections with everyone he met. He was a compassionate man who cared deeply about current social and political issues in the world. Kyle reveled in “heated discussions” on many subjects, as he was always striving to better understand the challenges we face together in this broken world. He valued the ideas and opinions of others; often embracing situations that required him to step outside his comfort zone and empathize with the struggles of another person.

Kyle lived in Pontoon Beach with his fiancé Melanie Shadrick and their two dogs, Max and Rook, where they spent a lot of time going on adventures together. He will be dearly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him.

Popo and I will always be so thankful for you! You showed your love to us in so many ways. When the virus arrived in the U.S. you were so worried about us. You bought us special maks for us to wear so we would be safe and told us just what to do. You always came through the door with the biggest smile on your face. You were like a ray of sunshine. I know you are in Heaven and have met your great grandpa for the first time. He willl love you as much as we did. Some day we will all be united together in Heaven. All My Love Maw Maw

I,m so sorry Laurie, Matthew and Keith. Nothing will ever replace the awesome brother and son that Kyle was. He was an awesome guy and I will miss his smile. God sometimes calls his angels home when it seems they have more work here on earth to do. He was a very special person and I feel blessed to have known him. Please know that your pain is felt by many and we are ALL here for you.

Kyle I will miss you. I remember putting something on Facebook and Kyle would always want to debate with me. I of course am not a debater, they were always things I had had an experience with so when I seen something pertaining to it I would share it on my page. And here comes Kyle ready to debate. So I would privately message him to tell him why I put it up so he wouldn’t debate it. I always would say I love you Kyle but I don’t debate. Lol. He just loved getting in debates about everything, Silly Boy. Gosh you will be so missed.
