Louise A. Scheibel

Louise was an avid bowler who bowled at the state tournament on several occasions. She worked as a waitress for many years at various local restaurants. Louise was proud that she earned her GED while in her 60’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Scheibel, her parents; John and Louise, nee Reitermann, Monken, a daughter-in-law, Judy Scheibel, three brothers; Omer, John, and Clifford Monken, and three sisters; Violet Neumann, Vera Richter, and Wella Rubin.

Surviving are her children; Ramah (Joel) Merkel of O’Fallon, Illinois, and Gary Scheibel of Edwardsville, Illinois, a granddaughter, Kelly Louise (Dr. Joe) Robbins of Martinsburg, West Virginia, two great grandchildren, Beckett and Corinne, a sister, Mildred Ziegler of Saint Louis, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Fairview Heights, Illinois.
