Margaret "Toots" Kirby

Toots retired after 40 years from Hunter Packaging Company, East St. Louis, Ill., and was also a co-owner with her husband of Art’s Confectionary, East St. Louis, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Kirby and her parents, Harold & Sadie, nee Horner, Hannigan.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda “Candy” (Jerry) Chouinard of Belleville, Ill., and her son, James Michael (Sandra) Kirby of Millstadt, Ill., Grandchildren, John Wesley (Christine) Chouinard of Belleville, Ill., Cheryl Stanton of O’Fallon, Ill., and Christopher Michael (Cheryl) Kirby of Millstadt, Ill., and 5 loving great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Belleville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1:00 P.M.- 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Hgts, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Lake View Funeral Home with Father Roger Karban officiating.

Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Hgts, Ill
