Margaret "Tish" Patricia Korves

Margaret “Tish” Patricia Korves, 82, of Columbia, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was born on October 28, 1939 in East St. Louis to Elwin and Margaret (Byrnes) Waggaman. She married Robert Lee Korves Sr., September 6, 1958 in East St. Louis. Tish was a volunteer greeter at the Monroe County Welcome Center and loved playing BINGO and the slot machines. She also enjoyed her time living at The Atrium and later at Bradford place where she met many friends and participated in various activities and games. Tish will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Anne Schrage, Jack (Shelly) Korves and James (Gail) Korves; grandchildren, Nikki (T.J.) O’Connor, Danielle Schrage, Tyler Schrage, Maghy (Chris) Kovach, Kayla (Chris) Bishop, Todd (Rachelle) Korves, Alex Korves, Randi (Geoffrey Benitez) Korves, Josie (Tyler) Harbaugh and Sam (Jennifer) Korves; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert Lee Korves, Sr.; children, Robert Lee Korves Jr. and Patricia Susan Olson and grandson, Brett Korves.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 12:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208 with visitation from 10:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Brett’s First Responders Foundation, brettsfirstresponders.org
