For Mary, Adam, Sarah and David,
So sorry for your loss of husband and father. As Mariano's cousin, I feel so blessed to have witnessed Mary join our extended family, then Adam, Sarah and David, with your children. Mariano provided us with so many happy moments. May his beautiful, joyous and loving spirit remain in all of us that were fortunate to have known him.

My heart is breaking. Mariano and Mary were an important part if my Japan family. They gave me friendship and support unconditionally. They became my surrogate family. His love of life, joy at experiencing new things and unfailing commitment to friends and family were inspirational. The way Mary and Mariano could still make each other giggle after all those years made them so fun to be with. Mary, I'm so sorry I can't be there. Know that I'm thinking of you and sending my love.
