

Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and in her retired years, refurbishing furniture. She was a member of Local 881 UFCW for 37 years where she worked as a Customer Service Manager at Schnucks in Fairview Heights. Her greatest moments were those spent with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Edith, nee Worley, Harmon; her husband, Richard P. Jones; and her brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda Fishback and Vicki (Mike) Boring; her two grandchildren, April (Preston) Vander Ven and Rachel (Brandon) Compton; her great-grandchildren, Preston "PJ" Vander Ven, David Smith, Emma Vander Ven, and Addeline Compton; her beloved silver poodle, RoRo; grandma grandma, Patti-Poo; her best friend of 46 years, Pat Schutzenhofer; and numerous relatives and friends.
Martha's family would like to give a special thanks to Lisa Kessler and Dee Edwards, her longtime caregivers and Unity Hospice for their compassion and care.
