Mary Jane Knipp

Mary Jane Knipp, nee Skiera, 78, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Belleville, Illinois and the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, born September 2, 1935, in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in Florida.

Mrs. Knipp was a past member of the auxiliary’s for the Exchange Club of Belleville, the Elks Lodge, in Lake of the Ozarks, and the American Legion, in Fort Myers, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary, nee Plaza, Skiera.

Surviving are her loving husband, Don Edward Knipp; her daughters, Karen Trujillo and Donna (Joel) Nelson; her grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, Morgan, Adrianne, and Johnathan; a sister, Retta Dent; a sister-in-law, Patricia Larsen; a brother-in-law, John (Dana) Knipp; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
