She was born to the late Charles and Mary (nee Stuart) Dartt on March 26, 1938, in East St. Louis, Illinois. She married Clyde D. Tobin and he survives.
Mary worked as a Secretary at Northern Mutual and was a homemaker most of her life. Mary did what the Lord asks of us by feeding the hungry and housing the homeless. Her laughter was infectious. She was a true Cardinal baseball fan. She loved yard work and gardening and kept her yard pristine. Baking, sewing, quilting, crocheting gifts for her family came straight from her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Hart and son-in-law, Neil Fulton.
She is survived by her children: Beverly Fulton, David (Alicha) Tobin, Karen (Bryan) Wicklein, Kimberly (Gary) Schreder, and Michael C. Hart; grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson, James Fulton, Amy (Gary) Reynolds, Anna (Aaron) Bauer, Adam (Casi) Tobin, Henry (Ashley) Wicklein, Carolyn (Samuel) Rothwell, Samuel (Taylor) Wicklein, Sara Blanton (Giovanni), Magie (James) Yarber, Katie (Steve) Shaw; great-grandchildren: Victoria, Samuel Fulton, Kyliegh, Jeremy, Blake Johnson, Kaylin Cook, Aden Blanquart, Audrey Bauer, Parker, Paityn Tobin, Grace Aspen, Henry, Stetson Wicklein, Elaina Jo, Sammy Lee Rothwell, Lewiston, Callahan, Loraine Wicklein, Madison Giesegh, Ivan, Juliette, Abel Flores, Lilly, and John Wayne Yarber; sister: Lucy E. Kennedy; brother: Charles R. (Karen) Dartt; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
The funeral service for Mary will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:00am at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service.
