Maxine Geneva Thomas

Mrs. Thomas was a member of Grace Church in Fairview Heights and an avid reader. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by a daughter at birth, Cheri Lenae Graham; her parents, Mike and Mary, nee Waldo, Crawford; a brother, Mac Crawford, Jr.; and a sister, Marion Judy Gorgas.

Surviving are her loving husband of 30 years, William W. Thomas, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; her son, Kevin (Jennifer) Thomas, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; her grandchildren, Zoey and Blake; her sisters, Margaret Ann (Gary) Creamer, of Dyer, Indiana, Merle Patricia (Larry) Plunkett, of Pontotoc, Mississippi, and Marcia Lynn Rigby, of O’Fallon, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Entombment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
