Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lucille Luntsford; husband, Stephen Hopkins; in-laws, Paul and Lenora Hopkins; daughter-in-law, Stella Hopkins, and grandson, Bryan Hopkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons William Edward, Steven Paul and Ronald Keith Hopkins. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Mildred worked at Woolworths in East St. Louis from age 17 until she retired at 62. She was a member of the Fairview Heights VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
