Minnie Feig, 98, passed away on Sunday October 28, 2018 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon. She was born on October 4, 1920 in Collinsville, the daughter of the late John and Maria (Girotto) Ferrero. Minnie married the love of her life William Feig on December 9, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a lifetime member of St. John’s UCC in Collinsville, enjoyed playing pinochle and rummy, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by six grandchildren Brent (Melissa) Feig, Brian (Elizabeth) Feig, Katheryn (John) Lawrence, Tina (Brett) Gray, David (Becky) Graham, and Tammy (David) Williams; 12 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; sister in law Evelyn Ferrero and brother in law Melvin Feig. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons Terry Feig and Billy Feig; six siblings. Visitation will be held from 11 am until the time of funeral service at 1 pm at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
