Nikki was street smart in the truest sense—steady on her feet, clear-eyed about the world, and determined to meet life head-on. A hard-working woman through and through, she built her days around showing up, pushing forward, and doing what needed to be done. She worked as a factory worker, bringing grit and reliability to her work, and she carried that same resolve into every part of her life.
Those who knew Nikki also knew her warmth and her humor—often delivered with perfect timing and a familiar spark. She could be kind-hearted in ways that mattered most, offering care and love with a directness that left no doubt. And as her family will lovingly tell you, it was her way, her rules—an unmistakable strength that shaped her home and her legacy.
Nikki found comfort in simple joys and familiar favorites: watching football, working on diamond paintings, and eating at the chinese place. In recent times, she had returned to the church with her daughter, a step that reflected a quiet devotion and the importance she placed on family and faith.
She was the mother of two children, Chance Kiselka and Nakayla Rees. She was preceded in death by her mother, Myona Kiselka; father, Nick Kiselka; sister, Gwendolynn Moore; and grandmother, Minnie Ward. She is survived by her daughter, Nakayla (Zachary) Rees; son, Chance Kiselka; grandkids, Christian, Tala, Bayani; siblings, Sheila Evans, and Russel Pierson; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
The family expresses thanks to all those who cared and loved their mom.
Nikki would always say, “Love you to the moon and back,” and you had to repeat it to her—words that will remain a lasting echo of her love, her spirit, and the bond she insisted on keeping close.
