Norma L. Apostol

Norma L. Apostol (nee Frakes) of New Baden, IL, born October 21, 1938, passed away August 3, 2012 at her residence. Norma was preceded in death by two spouses, Glen Wolf, Sr. and Paul Apostol, Sr.; her parents; and two sisters, Pauline and Stella.

She is survived by her children, Glen Wolf, Jr., James (Ursula) Wolf, Steven Wolf, Pamela Wisecarver, and Kathryn Smith; grandchildren, Glen III, Timothy, Matthew, Amanda, Ashley, Ryan, Kristen, Steven, Tabitha, Dillon, James, Andrew, Krystal, Joshua, and Sarah; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wanda Frakes and Delores Johnson.

Norma’s family was everything to her and she will be greatly missed. Norma raised her grandkids as her own. She loved watching horror movies and was a loyal fan of “Just Say Yes to the Dress” and the “Young and the Restless”.

Services: Memorial visitation on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m. at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois, 62208. Memorials are appreciated to the American Lung Association. Expressions of condolence may be expressed at www.lakeviewfuneralhm.com

Grandma i miss you it is so hard to not have you here i always wish to my self just to see you one last time i remember the night before u made me cry because you keep talking about how u wish u would be here when i get married and how u wanted to be here through out my life and i remember i was the last one to talk to u that night and i remember giving u a hug and me saying i love u grandma goodnight and u seeming like you didnt want to let go i miss you i want you back i know u are in my heart but i want you here and in my heart

Mom,I love you very much. It makes me sad that I will not be able to bring you food any more. I visited once or twice a week but it was still not enough.Now it is too late. I will always remember our last words to each other, when we hugged and we both said "I love you". I will always have many great memories of you, some that make me laugh. Mom I will miss you till the day I die. I love you mom,Jim.
