Omega M. Hunt

Mrs. Hunt was a member of the National Federation of Republican Woman and the Business and Professional Woman’s Club.

She was also a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. She was very active member at First Baptist Church of O’Fallon and in serving Jesus by loving people. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend; who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Hunt; and her parents, Chalmer and Iva, nee Herring, Weesner.

Surviving are her children, Jackye (Bob) Biehl, of Shiloh, Illinois and Les (Debbi) Cole, of Marietta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Stacy (Andy) Gibson, Chad (Stormy) Biehl, Matthew (Susanna) Cole, and Melynn (Adam) Cogbill; great grandchildren, Shiloh, Eden, Elijah, Aspen, Meredith, Mattie, Cameron, and Colbie; her sister, Billie J. (Rodney) Miller, of Marion, Indiana; her nieces, Valree (Rex) Kinch and Renee Gerstorff; many friends, and her church family.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the First Baptist Church, 1111 E. US 50, O’Fallon, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2012, at the church. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
