Patricia Ann "Red" Hoge

Patricia was born on January 15, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL to Sydney and Mariane (Smith) Johnston.

She married Robert Donald Hoge on November 3, 1955. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1991.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her dear cousin, Elizabeth “Betty” Kukla.

Patricia is survived by her children, Susan (Steven) Dummerth of Arnold, MO, Mark (Lisa) Hoge of Mahomet, IL and Randal Hoge of Collinsville, IL; her three beloved grandchildren, Dr. Brooke R. Dummerth and Blake Dummerth, both of Arnold, MO and Hannah K. Hoge of Collinsville, IL; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Patricia was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and followed their seasons closely. Years ago, she worked as a switchboard operator for Chase Hotel in St. Louis, MO. She later worked at Sears in Fairview Heights, IL.

Above all else, Patricia loved her family, especially her three grandchildren. She was so proud of them and all of their individual accomplishments. Her fun-loving and joyful spirit will truly live on through the people she loved most.

A visitation for Patricia will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation, at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
