

He entered this world on November 3, 1951, in Freeport, Illinois, born to William C. and Maxine V. (Kenyon) Geiser Lamm. Randy was baptized December 23, 1951, in Freeport and confirmed March 12, 1967, in Biloxi, MS. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Belleville.
In February of 1974, Randy married the love of his life, Ruby L. Geiser (nee Rhodes) in Blytheville, AR. He was a devoted, loving husband of 52 years, and a caring, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved his family and his country.
He was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, and received his Master of Science in Logistics from the Air Force Institute of Technology in Dayton, OH.
Randy served in the Air Force for 20 years and Civil Service for 25. He was a Viet Nam volunteer and was stationed in Thailand, Spain, England, and stateside.
He enjoyed going to the shooting range, reading, coin collecting, gardening, and feeding his birds. He loved to travel and was able to fulfill a lifelong dream to walk The Great Wall of China.
Randy was always an active church member, having served as an elder, communion assistant, held various offices, Sunday school teacher, and reader. He enjoyed many Bible study groups, and loved the time spent with the Promise Keepers and Explorers. He served in the St. Clair County jail ministry since 2002. He treasured his time with Zion’s summer sack lunch program and Operation Christmas Child. His mission trips to Honduras and Ecuador were some of his fondest memories.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Ruby L. Geiser of Shiloh,IL, two daughters, Candice (Tony) Flowers of Granite City, IL, Tiffany Moncrief of Greenfield, IN; five grandchildren, Tommy Brock, Jonathan Moncrief, Jackson Moncrief, Joseph Arana Jr., and Charlotte Arana; a brother, David (Leyla) Lamm, two sisters, Pamela Owen and Beatrice Jacquet; a brother-in-law, Larry (Jamie) Rhodes; two sisters-in-law, Ann Veatch and Sharon Davis; and a host of loving nieces and nephews and close cousins and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, stepparents, Kenneth and Alcyone Lamm and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Wilma Rhodes, four brothers-in-law, Edwin Kurt Jacquet Sr., Tony Rhodes, David Veatch, and Tommie Davis.
We can celebrate knowing he is in Heaven with loved ones gone before and in the loving presence of our God.
