She was born on April 30, 1938 in Stewart County, TN, the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Cox) Parker.
Fay married Almus “Virl” Williams on August 29, 1959 in Alorton, IL. He survives.
Fay worked as a school bus driver for District 175 in Belleville for 32 years while raising her family. She was a member of the 1st United Presbyterian Church in Belleville. She enjoyed solving word search puzzles, watching gameshows, gardening, fishing, and going to Belleville Health and Sports. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spoiling her grandson.
In addition to her husband, Virl, she is survived by two sons Jeff Williams of Belleville and Dennis (Cindy) Williams of Belleville; one grandson Ryan (Melissa) Williams of O’Fallon, MO; three sisters Geri Huggins, Esther (Don) Green, and Wilma Butler; a sister in law Janet Parker and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, James and Lillian, she was preceded in death by a brother David Parker and a brother in law John Butler.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday August 20, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights.
Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded and will follow services.
Private inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
