He was born August 26, 1945 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Montie and Emilie (Galinat) Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rich was a proud 58-year member of Local 309, IBEW and served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his brothers Robert “Bo” (Kathi) Hill of Ponte Vedra, FL, Michael T. “Mike” Hill of Fairview Heights, IL, and Montie (Kathryn) Hill of O’Fallon, IL. He was loved by his nieces and nephews: Justin (Gina) of O’Fallon, IL, Shawn of Fairview Heights, IL, Jaime of O’Fallon, IL, Kristin of Irving, TX, Courtney (James) of Western Springs, IL, and Jeff (Chou) of Merritt Island, FL.
A memorial service will be held in late spring/early summer at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL.
