

Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, and was retired from Hunter Packing. He enjoyed working in his yard, playing guitar, and was a meticulous bookkeeper. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who’s greatest joy was spending time with and caring for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Mary Lou, nee Kraus, Pfau, a brother, Ronald Pfau, and a sister, Barbara Piere.
Surviving are his wife of almost 53 years, Jeanette Pfau, nee Randell, his three sons; Richard T. (Karen) Pfau Jr. of Dow, Illinois, Scott R. (Michelle) Pfau, of Shiloh, Illinois, and Michael L. Pfau of Nixa, Missouri, three granddaughters, Kali, Destiny, and Andrea Pfau, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home with Fr. James Blazine officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Fairview Heights, Illinois.
