Robert "Bob" Paul Kimball

He was born on November 23, 1955 in Westfield, MA, the son of the late Charles F. Jr. and Geraldine M. (Howard) Kimball.

Bob received his Bachelor’s degree in business ethics from SIUE. He worked for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years, from carrying mail to working as a clerk. He was an avid golfer and sports fan. He also enjoyed Civil War history.

He is survived by his five siblings, Charles F. III (Phyllis) Kimball of Alhambra, Francis E. (Brenda) Kimball of Alhambra, Mary E. (Jeanne Schieszer) Kimball of Wentzville, Gerald V. (Carol) Kimball of Granite City, and Jeffrey J. (Barbara) Kimball of Collinsville; four nieces and nephews; Tina Holmes, Patricia York, Chris Kimball, and Matthew Kimball; several great nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David A. Kimball and sister Elizabeth A. Kimball.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 20, 2018 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights.

Funeral service will be held on Friday December 21, 2018 at 10 am at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights.

Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.

Memorials may be directed to Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
