

Rosemary was a lifetime member of the First Devine Science Church of Belleville, she served the church as a member of the ladies auxiliary, and served many years as the assistant director of Sunday school and later as the director of Sunday school. Rosemary also organized a golf tournament along with her late daughter, Carol, for PTOEC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. Jorns Sr., her parents, Harry and Marie, nee Jorns, Newton, a son, Alfred W. Jorns Jr., and two daughters; Carol Grueber and Deborah Jorns.
Surviving are her sons; David (Cindy) Jorns of Belleville, Illinois, and John Jorns of Belleville, Illinois, a daughter, Patricia (John) Zitta of Highland, Illinois, grandchildren, Tracy Newton, Dr. Steven (Sandra) Zitta, Phd, Craig (Peggy) Zitta, Brett Grueber, Dan (Michelle) Rogers, Kelly (Billy) Miller, and Jennifer (Scott) Rogers, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, two brothers; James and Andrew Newton, a sister, Ruth Wetzel, a son-in-law, Lou Grueber, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, January 25, 2013 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois with Rev. Mary Keller officiating. Interment will be Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
