From an early age, Roxanna’s life was shaped by movement and discovery. Raised by her grandparents, she experienced the world in a way few children do—traveling often, and traveling widely—thanks to her grandfather’s work as a pilot and the opportunities it afforded. Those early miles nurtured a spirit marked by courage and curiosity, and a steady willingness to embrace what lay beyond the familiar.
Roxanna served in the Air Force for three years in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Her service reflected a quiet strength and a steadfast work ethic—an ability to meet demanding moments with resolve, to do what needed to be done, and to do it with purpose.
Above all, Roxanna’s deepest pride was found in her family. She counted it among her greatest joys to see her children succeed, and she held close the meaning she found in watching Amanda place trust in God. Roxanna’s faith was not merely spoken; it was lived with constancy, expressed through care for others, and grounded in a thoughtful pursuit of what is true.
In the everyday rhythms of life, Roxanna brought people together. She loved to organize parties and events, creating spaces where others felt welcomed and remembered. She delighted in baking, offering sweetness in more ways than one. And she had a special fondness for Uno—so much so that she owned every variation of the game there is—finding simple, shared joy in time spent with the people around her.
Roxanna hoped that others could learn from her life and come to know that God is in control, and that He can be trusted. She wished to be remembered as a woman who trusted God, and who wanted others—especially her family—to trust in Him too. In that enduring hope, and in the steady kindness with which she moved through the world, Roxanna leaves a legacy of resilience, generosity, and wisdom that will not be forgotten.
