

Ruth was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her knew that she had a loving personality and generous character. Ruth worked as an office clerk for almost 10 years at Swift packing company and also worked in the office at NAPA Automotive Parts Association for 27 years until her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Paul W. Dillard; both parents, Lloyd Edgar Smith and Clara (nee Rowland) Dillard; her step father, Everett Dillard; and her sister who passed in infancy, Hazel Smith.
Surviving to cherish memories are her loving daughter; Paula (Gary) Anielak, of Collinsville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Joe (Penny) Raburn, of Collinsville, Illinois and David (Chris) Anielak, of Troy, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Travis (Tara), Nicholas, Paige (Jon), Melissa (Josh), Nathan, Tiffany and Teaghan; her great-great grandchildren, Emma, Arlo and Isaac and a number of dear relatives and friends.
