Sandra L. Skikas

Sandra Lee Skikas (nee Barbeau), 73, of Swansea IL, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 , at Memorial Hospital surrounded by love, with her daughter Kimberly, and son-in-law Gary Kemper, whom she was dearly fond of.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Kenneth P. Skikas, her parents, Robertous “Bob” and Mary Barbeau, and a dear sister-in-law, Charlene Skikas.

She is survived by her daughters: Kimberly (Gary) Kemper and Rhonda Lynn Zarzecki, her youngest daughter whom she loved very much, her grandchildren: Abbey Zipfel, Allison McIntosh, Olivia and Dylan Zarzecki, dear brother-in-law, Walter Skikas, Joe Zarzecki, whom she loved as her own son, dear nephews: Steven and Michael Skikas and their families, and her very dearest and loving friend Carolyn Baker, and a number of dear relatives and friends.

The family of Sandra Skikas would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Hospice of Southern Illinois staff and Memorial Nursing staff for their compassion and efforts.

Memorial Visitation: Family and friends may visit, Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at Lake View Funeral Home, located at 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.

Memorial Service: A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, immediately following visitation. Interment to be held privately at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
