Sharon worked 40 plus years and retired from the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed making crafts, ceramics, and knitting. She also, loved to play bingo. She was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. She loved the time spent with her family and cherished her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Rose, nee Gacevich, Jines; a brother, John Jines, in infancy; a sister, Beverly Liszewski; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Liszewski.
Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Darryl D. Blackston, of Belleville, Illinois; her two sons, Dennis (Jan) Nevois, of Belleville, Illinois and Darryl L. Blackston, of Summerfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Angela (Christopher) Sheridan and Brandon Blackston; a great granddaughter, Guinevere; her brother, Steve (Teresa) Jines, of Smithton, Illinois; her dear friend, Sophie Greenham; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services were held privately with Lake View Funeral Home and interment was held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
