Shirley Marie Kaiser

Shirley was born May 12, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL to Russell Sr. and Bessie (Davinroy) DeVan. She married Donald Kaiser Sr. on March 1, 1964; he preceded her in death on October 20, 1989.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Russell Sr. and Bessie DeVan; two sons, Clifford Kaiser and Donnie Kaiser Jr; and siblings, Phyllis, Russell Jr. and Richard “Rick”.

Shirley is survived by her children, Lisa (Tom) Marrone and Suzy Kaiser, all of Belleville, IL; grandchildren, Samantha (Justin) Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Madison and Drake; and nieces, Karen Muir and Shelly Thompson.

Shirley worked at Meredith Memorial Home as a housekeeper for 37 years. She loved going to garage sales and bargain shopping.

Shirley cherished the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted Granny and loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Even after her passing, Shirley was committed to helping others in need and was a donor through Mid-America Transplant Services.

VISITATION: A visitation for Shirley will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

SERVICE: A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following service and inurnment will be held at a later date at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
