Shirley Mae McCall

Shirley was born January 26, 1931 in St. Louis, MO to John and Sophie (Lemons) Morzek. She married Raymond McCall on September 6, 1952; he preceded her in death on January 17, 1984.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Shirley is survived by her children, Danny (Elaine) McCall of Aransas Pass, TX and Lesa McCall of Auburn, IL; grandchildren, Heather (Gary) Rieth of St. Louis, MO, Sara (Wayne) Young of St. Libory, IL, and Matthew (Stephy) McCall of Corpus Christi, TX; great-grandchildren, Austin Rieth, Emilee Young, Ella Young, Meadow Young, Madeline McCall, and Saxson McCall.

Shirley owned her own business as a commercial cleaner throughout the Auburn and Virden area for many years. She was devoted to her family, especially her dear grandchildren and daughter; they were the light of her life. Her most cherished times were spent with her family and all of the experiences they shared throughout the years. Her loss leaves a painful void but the stories and memories will never be forgotten.

Cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be in Auburn, IL at a later date. The family has entrusted Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL with arrangements.
