

Shirley had retired from St. Clair County Regional Superintendent of Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church, Mascoutah, Ill. While she dearly loved her family, her first love was Jesus and she was someone that lived her faith. She was always willing to help anyone regardless of their need or request. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl R. “Sonny” Wiemer, Jr.; her parents, Emery and Bernice Pugh; her in-laws, Earl and Gladys Wiemer; and a brother, Robert Pugh.
Surviving are her daughter, Delores (Greg) Doussard of Shiloh, Ill.; sons, Dean (Judy) Wiemer of New Athens, Ill. and Dale Wiemer of Belleville, Ill.; the delights and joys of her life – grandchildren: Heather (Jason) Hayden, Jonathan (Ashley) Doussard, Emily Wiemer and Joshua Wiemer; sisters Dorothy Hodel of Belleville, Ill. and Ethel Davis of Norfolk, VA.; sisters-in-law Kathi (Bill) Holcomb of Red Bud, Ill., Betty (Don) Russell of St. Louis, Mo. and Sharon Pugh of Muscatine, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that living memorials be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society or First Baptist Church, Mascoutah, Building Fund.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill. with the Rev. Raymond Doussard and Rev. Duane Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
