Teresa Nancy Brennfleck

Teresa Nancy Brennfleck, 78, of Waterloo, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born February 7, 1945 in Germany. Teresa started her career at St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud, IL. She was later employed by the United States Postal Service where she dedicated 20 years of service. Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment were a testament to her strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. While Teresa’s professional life was important to her, it was her love for her family that truly defined her. She cherished every moment spent with them and the support and guidance she showed to her children and grandchildren will always be remembered. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her children, Mike (Sarah) Brennfleck of Steeleville, IL, John (Connie Park) Brennfleck of Freeburg, IL and Bekki Brennfleck of Waterloo, IL; grandchildren, AJ (Taylor) Brennfleck, Ashley Brennfleck, Abby Brennfleck, Harry Higgins, Gus Higgins and Letti Brennfleck. Teresa will also be missed by her dear cat, Callie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna Glinka; infant sister, Victoria Prusak and the father of her children, Ron Brennfleck.

Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Humane Society of Monroe County.
