Vana was preceded in death by her father, Walter Griebel, and her mother, Alma (nee Hulbert) Griebel. She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Allgire of Shiloh, IL; her four children, Cindy (Joe) Miller of Caseyville, IL; Susie (Terry) Taggart of O’Fallon, IL; Butch (Lynn) Allgire of Belleville, IL; Tim Allgire of Belleville, IL; and her sister Vicki (Dan) Cushman of Belleville, IL.

She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren: Laura (Brian) Barr, Jody (Nick) Yarber, Lauren (Brett) Higgins, Abby (Ben) Sgro, Collin Allgire, Mallory Allgire, and Shannon Allgire and four great grandchildren, Ally Barr, Kaiden Allgire, Bentley and Abel Yarber.
