Vernice was born January 25, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to Harry and Anna (Buschenhemke) Suedkamp. They preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Kanyuck and her son, Bob Kanyuck.
She is survived by her two sons, Carl (Rebecca) Kanyuck of Hollister, CA and David (Elizabeth) Kanyuck of Waterloo, IL; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kyle, Collin, Elissa and Angelynn; great-grandchildren, Evan, Johnathan, Angelica, Lupita, Anthony, Esmeralda and Simon.
Vernice worked as an operator with AT&T for many years. After her retirement, she found great joy in helping the elderly with in-home care. She enjoyed reading, cooking and using her artistic abilities to paint beautiful pieces of art. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family service will be held at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights, IL. The family has entrusted Lake View Funeral Home with cremation rites.
