

Virgil was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served in World War II. He retired from Central Hardware, St. Louis, MO.
He enjoyed carpentery work, which included building bird houses, dog houses and wood crafting; and was a member of the American Legion Post #58, Freedom Farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sola, nee Satterlee, Vallowe; and two brothers, Rev. Edgar Vallowe and Richard Vallowe.
Surviving are his loving wife of 70 years, Marie, nee Morineau, Vallowe who he married on November 30, 1941; his children, Marshall (Lucy) Vallowe, Janice (Bill) Zavadil, Sandra (Jim) Ott and Mark (Sheila) Vallowe; 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; and two sister-in-laws, Alice Vallowe and Helen Vallowe and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. – 11:15 A.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Spring Valley Baptist Church, Shiloh, IL.
Memorial services will be held at 11:15 A.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Spring Valley Baptist Church, Shiloh, IL, with Pastor Jerold Darnell officiating.
Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
