Wanda K. Bowen

Mrs. Bowen was a member of Alpha & Omega Christian Fellowship Church in Collinsville, Illinois. She worked as a secretary for Nationwide for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Bowen; a daughter, Karen J. Partain; three sons, Charles F. Bowen, Kevin E. Bowen and Timothy A. Bowen; three grandchildren, David, Cory, and Erin Bowen; her parents, Homer and Leona, nee Brown, Benson; her siblings, Homer, Freeman, John, Ernest, Ray, Wilbert, and Luella; a son-in-law, Raymond Galas; and a daughter-in-law, Louise Bowen.

Surviving are her children, Fern E. Galas, Ralph G. Bowen, Glenda (Jack) Quinn, Larry N. (Ann) Bowen, Dennis L. Bowen, Pamela C. Bowen, Theresa J. Bowen, and Curtis W. Bowen; 26 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
