Wilburn was known as “Bud” to all who knew and loved him. He was a dedicated family man. He married the love of his life, Norma Speith, on March 15, 1951. This beautiful union brought two daughters, Donna and Tamara. He worked as a certified welder for Ameren U.E., for 34 years and as a shuttle bus driver in Collinsville, until his retirement. Bud proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling to some of his favorite places, like Florida and Lake of the Ozarks with his wife, riding his motorcycles, and being an avid bass fisherman. Bud also possessed a faithful persona, having served as a long-time member of the Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville. His most precious memories were those spent with his loved ones. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline (nee Henerfouth) Gale.
Surviving to cherish memories are his wife of 67 years, Norma (nee Speith) Williamson, of Collinsville, IL, his daughters: Donna Corrie, of Collinsville, IL and Tamara Griffin, of Caseyville, IL, his grandchildren: Matthew Payne, Christopher Kettler, and Amber (Clinton) Stinnett, his great-grandchildren: Jacob and Aaron Payne, Eric Wilson, and Marlee Stinnett, and a number of dear relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Williamson will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 pm, Monday, July 23, 2018 at Lake View. Interment to take place privately.
