Rev. Gibb and his wife moved to the United States in 1961. He began his life of service to the Lord in 1966. William has served churches in Midland, Michigan, and South Haven, Michigan. Rev. Gibb retired from the Fairview Heights Church of God, now the Gathering Place, in 2002. Since retirement he had served as interim Pastor at Alton Church of God for 9 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Catherine, nee McPake, Gibb.
Surviving is wife of 51 years, Effie Gibb, nee Young, a sister-in-law, Marion King of Canada, a brother-in-law, Richard (Cathie) Young of Scotland, many nieces, nephews, very special friends, Sarah and Zech Bishop, and many other dear friends.
